It matches pretty well from a distance it’s perfect but it’s not an exact match as you can expect. I have the oem carbon fiber packages

The match is pretty freakin close for 1/3 of the price of the m performance. I bought it from saibang_tuning I think they’re sold out but the other sellers should be the same thing just check their account reviews and rating and request pictures of the item from the seller. The install is medium level I would say my friend did most of it and I assisted. 3m tape and bolts to hold it in place. We jacked the car one side at a time and removed the front wheels. You have to remove the shadowline trim in the front then have a second person pull the bumper a little to flex it so you can get to the screws

I'm getting my wheels powder coated this week, bronze. I couldn't confirm the bronze color that I liked so I am essentially winging it. If it comes out like trash I'll just go back to black

Definitely curious to see how it all turns out. I'm really on the fence on if it would want to go with bronze wheels for my car at some point…and then whether or not I just powder coat or replace with the 1000M wheels.

Also really interested in how this turns out. I have been contemplating ordering another 826 set to powdercoat bronze or gold. The 1000M are another option but I don't think I want to run 20/21 wheels.

Lowered on AST springs and MS spacers. Stance now looking proper. Haven’t lowered a car since high school (over 20 years ago), but the G80 needed it. Also posted in the suspension sub forum.

MST Air intakes installed

Hello hello! MST air intakes were installed yesterday. Things I have noticed: Better Throttle response, amazing sounds coming from the engine bay. I initially looked into the BMS but MST's came with a heat shield which sold me on the spot! Anybody else have them on?

Hardwired my R7 today. Thanks to savi01 for the text support. Super easy to do once you realize what needs to be done. Took all of 10-15 minutes.

DYI ceramic coating today. Finally got this done.

First time doing it, pretty straightforward. Assuming you can't see how nice it came out from the pictures, but I'm pretty happy.

My steps were:
- Wash and dry overnight
- Clay bar'd the car
- Polished with BOSS from Griots
- Panel wiped with Gtechniq Panel Wipe
- Ceramic coat with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light
- Hydrophobic coat with Gtechniq EXOv4

Whole process took me probably about 8 hours in total from wash the night before to completion today.
