Installed the KW Has Kit last weekend and the week before some carbon fiber exterior pieces. Cars coming along.

Lovely car!
Can I ask how you've affixed your short plate to the front?
Thanks. The plate is fixed with 3mm foam number plate mounts stuck on top of each other (I have 2 at the bottom and three at the top each side)
Thank you man. Mine hasn't been delivered yet so I'm debating whether to tell them not to install the front plinth (I presume they screw it in place), and go with what you've done with a shortened plate. I think our standard size plates don't look great on these.

I made a mistake and have amended the reply. It's 2 top 3 bottom each side as the nose sticks out further at the top. I placed them close to centre so it's very hard to see them. Also it's a solid connection
Make sure they don't attach the plinth as the screw holes will be seen on a short plate. You can always do it yourself if you decided to use it.

The garage is coming along but the supply chain issues along with some terrible weather is making it slow.
How long till you get your car?

I guess you've had it quite bad with these storms as of late! Few tiles flying about this way recently…

Car is due to be built WC 7th March but I'm unsure how long it takes to get to UK. I'd probably say back end of March. I've already bought too many bits for it and I haven't even got it!

What tools were needed besides the T30 and a socket set? How'd you jack up the car? I haven't seen much on putting this model on jack stands. Do you need lifting pucks? I just got my Turner Skid plate in, today. I think I'm going to install my front bumper ducts and the turner skid plates tomorrow.
Look up what's your forte on YouTube. He gives a nice diy video for this. You'll need a 8mm and 10 mm socket. If your jack head has a large enough jack pad you don't need a puck. I used 2 jacks one on each side.

My car was completed on the 10th December and delivered to the dealer on 7th January if that's any help.
Yes weather this month has been pretty grim TBO.

I always disliked the fact that the "M4" above "Competition" is black on black on the front of the grill and the two sides

So I bought some silver vinyl wrap, pressed it onto the "M4" and (carefully with magnifying goggles) exacto-knifed the shape out.

Yeah, I don't understand (never did) the logic of black emblem on black background. If the purpose is to disappear into the background, then eliminate the emblem altogether. People who know, know; they don't need to discern an emblem. People who don't know, probably don't care either, so an emblem won't impress them anyway.

Ok, rant is over; here's how I embellished the side air breathers (since they looked a little naked with nothing on them) ...

Awesome idea…I was considering using plastidip to add a pop of color (haven’t chosen a color for San Marino highlight color), but the wrap may be even easier.

How well is it adhering since you can only press it on so much (I’ve never used wrap before)? Does it pull up on the sides when you wash it?
