Volk TE37s
Curious if anyone has taken the plunge with TE37s, or have had success finding a set that fit our bolt pattern. IMO, every M car in the past has pulled off TEs so well, and I’m sure the G8x would be the same.
I did stumble across an Instagram account where they test fitted a bronze set and it looked spot on. Just not sure on sizes and offsets. |

Not a G80 owner but a G20 owner. I just put on a set of TE's on my car and can confirm that the typical 3 month wait turned into 6 months for me. But I can tell you that it was well worth it. If you want a true upgraded forged wheel from OEM, TE's are the way. VOLK or BBS are the only brands I would ever consider.

Found this on IG... it needs a drop for it to work, IMO.

Impressive that a 25 year old wheel style still looks decent on a modern car.

Yup, I have a 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +35 on my G20 which will work on the G80 as well.

Looks great, what size tires are you running? Did you need to run any spacers in the rear to clear the inner suspension. I spoke to one guy with a g80 who had to run spacers in the rear on 285/35.

I love the Te37... I had them on my RSX in 2002. I thought they would look a bit too Japanese for the M4. But I'm having second thoughts after seeing this.

Plenty of M cars running TE's and Rays in general. Just check out the F80 forums, I think there's a dedicated TE thread there.

TEs were definitely very popular on the F8x and the E9x. Looked great on both. I love the concept of a quality Japanese wheel on a German performance car.

Looks like Mackin Industries (official Rays importer) have the Ultras with different faces (so you can spec them to look like the original look) in G80 lug pattern in 19's and 20's FYI.
