I know we have a good amount of people in the area. I would like to get a group together and take some pictures and get lunch or something.

Who's up for the idea? I have yet to meet other G8X owners in person around here.

I wouldn't mind driving down to Chicago, scoping out some locations etc. I'll volunteer to take / edit photos for whoever is interested.

My car will be here in about 6-8 weeks. I’m up in the Milwaukee area (Elm Grove) but I’ll definitely be down should you put anything together after it arrives! I’ve on seen 1 G80 on the road here and I’m on the road literally 10 hours a day. Hope to see some more soon! Definitely going to be at the cars and coffee down at the marina when the car is in my hands. Hope to meet up soon fellas!!

Absolutely I will go to the cars and coffee, and glad to see there's a new G80 coming to town. It would be cool to do a BMW meet as well though. I work from home and rarely go out these days, the car is still at 400 odd miles.. struggling to add some miles!

awesome, hopefully you get it shortly. it's at the port in Germany? I'd say another 1.5 - 2 months from when your car arrives there from the factory. I don't mind where we meet as long as it's an interesting location. Lake Geneva would be a nice drive.
