I just called the BMW Genius Line: (844)443-6487. They told me that my M3Cx was at the Baltimore VPC and released to the carrier today. Expected pickup on Jan 7, with delivery to dealer (Chicago area) on Jan 11 (I’ll believe it when I see it).

If you don’t have information from your CA, you can call the genius. For those of you that haven’t used it, ask for “other options” then “production status” during the menu prompts. You’ll need to give them the last 7 digits of your VIN.

Does anyone have a number for Moore Transport in Baltimore? They were supposed to call me back yesterday to report the status of the broken down tractor trailer that my vehicle was on.

We have had to make a change to the initial offer, and cannot offer Lifestyle merchandise any longer. The two offers available are either a $1,500 Owner Loyalty check or 12 months of a complimentary Connected Drive service. You can see which Connected Drive services may be available for your M3 via the MyBMW App. If you would prefer the check, please let me know so I can have it processed and mailed. I would only ask that you confirm your mailing address so I ensure you receive your check.

They are capable of offering $2000 right now. Just push them by saying they broke their commitment of 'arrive by the end of the year.'.

I am also getting 5500 off the MSRP. That’s a 7k discount for my troubles and not backing out. I also got them to give me 2.9 for 72. That’s what was offered in June when I originally went thru the purchase process and paid a 30k down payment. I feel comfortable with what I am being offered.

Are you getting M3 or M4? I placed my order January 3, 2022 and at the time I was 3rd in line for M3 allocation and was only required to put down $1k to reserve the build spot.

Also just heard from my CA a few minutes ago that my car is at the VDC and has switched to released to carrier status. Really hope it can get to dealership by Saturday or Monday while it is warm out. Got my PPF and Ceramic appointment set for next week.

You and one of the others on this board must have been the 2 people ahead of me all waiting for allocations. There was a 4th early on that still got a 2022 spot then other 3 all got pushed to 2023 builds.

Check with your CA to see if it has been released to carrier and just waiting on a truck. Wont change to in transit until its on a truck. Probably ended up waiting for mine if they are putting us on the same truck.

Took delivery this evening. Thank you all for venting your frustration as I never felt alone in this crazy 14 month process. The dealer and BMW held up to all financial discounts and agreements.

As of this morning mine is showing status of in-transit on My Garage site. Hope yours went to the same.

Just checked mygarage. Still At Port status. Suggests there is an issue found that they need to fix? I’m reaching point of canceling.

Any word from your CA if it has been released to the carrier yet? My CA actually said it showed up in their system as being delivered last night, but its not actually there yet. Could possibly be later this afternoon.

Did you have any port install options that might be getting done?

Connected this afternoon with CA. It was released to carrier and then pulled back. VPC found damage. No estimated date when they’ll complete the fix.
Seems the automotive spirits are trying to tell me something about this car…
