As the owner of a 2021 BG M3, my "fanboy" just hit max. This weekend I had the unplanned and entirely luck driven opportunity to attend a whiskey tasting with a group of friends in Stuttgart and met one of the members of the team that developed the BG paint color. This morning, when I went to work, I was honored to receive a BG sample plate from this gentlemen.

I have never seen BG in person until I received the IND painted reflector yesterday.
It had a lot more gray than I imagined!
I'm definitely liking this color!
Only thing is my car won't be here for another month or two

I had the pleasure of taking delivery of my 2022 M3 Comp RWD today at the Performance Center in Greer. I won't go in to the entire experience because it's been done on here many times already. I'll only say that it's top notch and a must if you're able to do it. It also looks like I won the "Tire Lottery" by getting the Michelins.

I can't wait to get mine. Hopefully 6-8 weeks from now. The car dispatched from the factory as of today.

What % tint did you go with? I'm debating on 20% rear windshield, 35% the 4 windows, nothing on the front windshield.

Congrats on your car leaving the factory today. It's worth the wait. It took me ~11 weeks total to get mine. I could have had it 3 weeks earlier but I really wanted to do PCD so I waited.

I liked the tint that my M2 had which was done by the dealer before I bought it in 2018 so I had the shop match it. They said it was 15% so that's what I did on the doors and rear glass - nothing on the windshield. My brother took it for me and I gotta say when he returned with it I was saying to myself, "there's no way I'm gonna be able to see out of this." However, it's darker from the outside than it is from the inside and appears to be an exact match for what I had. I'm very happy with it.

Spacers are going installed by my local dealer first thing in the morning. I'll post before and after pics when I get back.

Hmm 15% doesn't look that dark from the pics, it could be because of the bright red interior lol.

I have 20% on my C7 z06 and it has a red interior (well the seats are red lol) and it appears a lot darker from the outside, but maybe it's because the interior is very small.

The only reason why i'm skeptical of going dark is because i don't want to get pulled over. In NJ, and in most parts, cops will literally u-turn to pull you over for tints. They're not just going to add a tint ticket when they pull you over for something else. You can be on the turnpike and if there's no speeders and you come cruising down in your tinted car, bam, he's coming to get you lol.

That said, i do want to drive my M3C a lot, or at least every single mile allowed on this lease. So i don't want to be paranoid with dark tints.

Very few BG with 825 style wheels. I'm probably ordering within the next week, and the wheels are the one thing I keep going back and forth on. I never liked the 825 wheels in pics, but finally saw them in the flesh today (on BG) and they looked pretty good. Easier to keep clean that the 826 wheels.
