So this was actually someone else's build and the only thing missing I would have got would have been the exterior carbon pack. So now I am making up for it lol.

The front lip is the authentic M performance lip. It will cost a pretty penny but it completes the OEM+ look for me.

The rear deck lid is a R44 performance CS style pre-preg carbon lip. Its not aggressive but again gives me the OEM+ look.

I have on order the r44 rear OEM+ diffuser in carbon which is priced at 1/3 of the BMW one. Quality is great and weave is the same as the factory pieces. I also plan on getting the r44 carbon inlets when they release them. They look fantastic over the stock ones especially if you dont have any in the first place.

I dont know how good my phone is vs an Iphone in capturing naked pics but I got up real early today and lost beauty sleep to take this for you ahahahhaha. If you have seen me, you would realize how important that is.

Backed this out, took the pic, back to sleep LOL - obviously no sun yet and my car is rather dirty and as I had pointed out (not as eloquently or factually as ATX_G80) the car changes its skin in lighting. Its much more purple or towards that region in color without light.

Let me ask this question, Between post 156 and 157 of this blue. Which one is more of a true state of this color?

Both LOL.... its the lighting. My pic was more dull that it appeared to the naked eye but that was around 6am today.

Now that there is more light Id pulled the car out again (849am pdt) but there is no sun but it looks more like ATX's now... magic!!!!!

Vic is right. It is both. I will say tho that you are correct in saying it has a purple hue to it. That hue is apparent at all times and in different lighting conditions. Its fantastic IMO.

I think both will do well when it comes to resale value with future G8x buyers. If you are very conservative with interior colors stick with Black or maybe consider Silverstone or Tartufo. I personally don't like Tartufo on the G8x because it doesn't have the two-tone look with black accents, which gives it more of a luxury than sporty look.

If you go with the orange interior you might want to switch calipers to blue to avoid an orange/red clash. If you go with red interior I think red calipers work great. I'm going with orange interior and then painting my calipers orange as soon as I get the car.

I did not! I really thought about it but I got to the point of "where should I stop" and decided not to spend another $2,550, which was going to put me over the $90k mark.

I love the additional luxury that full leather brings but what helped my decision to not get it is that I didn't really like the orange leather on the lower part of the dash. I would've preferred if it came in all black leather so that it's better quality & luxury without the extra color. Maybe it's just me!

Has anyone tried a stealth wrap on Portimao yet? Curious how closely it compares for FPB. Seems like the smarter choice given you'd like want a full wrap on FPB anyway?

Edit: not sure I'd want to lose the many hues in various lighting though.

haha literally on the exact thought process as you! I really wanted to keep this car under 90k as I feel like it would lose some value to what an M3 is. My thought was the same on the orange, it would be too much. I thought if i went white I would do full leather. I feel like it's such a redundant theme for M cars with blue exterior and white interior though.

So I just took this now at 1025 pdt and the lighting is bit Eastern still but you can clearly see (no filters or adjustments) of how PB is in the sun and then with non direct sun. The car does have nice coat of dust on it too....
