People that can spend over $100k and decide not to do other things with it and instead buy a car with huge ADM, they know it is going to depreciate a LOT. When new ones are going for $10k under in a couple of years, guess what the one you paid $20k over is going to be worth used? |

Some people are selling them to make a profit, especially when waiting lists are pretty much full for at least the next year or even two.

Like the people who bitch about the cost of new full-size trucks not realizing no one pays close to MSRP. And if you're picking up a last years model, it's very easy to get $15k off MSRP when purchasing one. |

I wish Ford or Chevy made an upscale Lincoln or Cadillac coupe built on the Mustang or Camaro platform, like the former Cadillac CTS.
I like a coupe for the longer doors, I want something that's fun to drive, and I have no need to carry passengers. At the same time, I don't want a daily driver that shouts "midlife crisis." |

Mustangs in regards to performance, really shouldn't give a shit about a prissy BMW 3-series, M-brand or not. Oh, right, "But the interior sucks." Lol. |

IME, this backfires. It means much of the time, you can't open the doors fully, because they are too long and something is blocking. You try to park as far away from anything else as possible (for multiple reasons), but inevitably this keeps happening. At least that's my experience with the car in the picture.

As much as I like to see an American car being the fastest around a track, I see 2 things wrong with the GT500:
1) it’s like bringing an artillery cannon to a knife fight, with all its heft and heat generating FI setup, and still undersized rear rubber, and 2) no manual. Lost me there. Willing to forgive (1) given it’s quicker than an M8, but not being able to shift myself is a no go I know it’s just a pipe dream, but I would love to see Ford re-create a AWD Hoonicorn. Street legal of course, and with the retro body style. I would be so in! |

I'm going to leave work today and go buy 5 Mustangs based solely on this article and this thread. I am beyond overjoyed that I get to be just like everyone else now. I'm amazed at how much better I feel already. Seriously, I'll drive by 50 mustangs on my way home today and won't notice a damn one of them. I realize oversaturation is a hard concept to grasp. |

Agree. I'm a hard core BMW guy (three in the garage right now), but credit where it's due. I wouldn't buy one for same reason I'm not interested in G80 - too big, too heavy, and don't love styling.

3) Dealers asking $130k! It's a Mustang! Even if you are a fan, you can buy two GT350s for that. |
