Corner spot under tree. Where do you park?

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Scenario:

It's a late August morning. Sun is piercing through the sky, radiating heat in every direction. Highs in the mid-90's today, they say. You need to stop at Costco for a couple of items (that will inevitably swell to $250 despite your best intentions). You're not driving the Odyssey today, so your eyes scan for a more remote corner of the lot for your prized G80. All of a sudden, choirs are singing as you identify a quiet peninsula across the field.

A grassy peninsula is home to a twenty-foot oak tree, its foliage thick this time of year, and sits between two empty spots. As a card-carrying member of the #ABI club, you're already looking forward to coming back out and admiring how well you backed it in.

Upon closer examination, the tree seems to have grown asymmetrically towards the shadier side, and therefore carries a much higher risk of bird shit landing somewhere upon your freshly-washed car. (Of course you've got PPF and ceramic coating -- what are you, a barbarian? -- but still.)

Alas, a choice needs to be made: Despite your fancy ceramic window tint, the shadier side will undoubtedly keep the interior about 50 degrees cooler than the other, sun-soaked side. Or do you accept the inevitability of the heat and avoid the threat of the birds?

As a general practice, I don't park under trees if I can help it....

I avoid as well. Tree sap is worse than bird bombs!

Along with the PPF and ceramic coating, you also opted for the 30% ceramic tint on all sides so you can in fact park on the sunny side and not worry too much about the heat.

Oh and for those of us in Phoenix, that sunny August day would likely be 110+ degrees.

But it's a dry heat, right?

Never ever park under a tree , its the worst thing that can happen to your paint no matter if you have PPF and ceramic coating.
