I've seen posts where cars were stuck in the port for weeks so I'm not counting my chickens just yet. |

SA called to let me know. I don't think we can track the cars in the UK.

That's good news!
I'm also in the UK and have an M4 xDrive stuck in QC. Mine was build week 47, so I've been stuck for 4 weeks now. Did you vehicle actually have any recalls or stop sales officially listed against it if you used the BMW recall tracker or the 3rd party https://bmw-recall-tool.netlify.app ? The reason I ask is that absolutely nothing is listed against my car and it was only the SA emailing BMW and getting a very vague response about semiconductor issues a week later that has provided any information. Conversely, the majority of vehicles in this thread that are or have been in QC all seem to have official recall flags against them. |

Thanks -- useful info -- I was beginning to wonder whether it was only me who was receiving no concrete information from BMW, but it sounds like you were in exactly the same boat! Maybe that is their UK strategy?

I have good news people. I contacted bmw USA support and got someone from the executive offices to take my case and complaint. My car has been in QC for 2 months and they are going to personally call the German plant next week and get back to me about what the giant hold up is for not only me but other people in this forum. I will update back here once i hear back.

Update: my 330i build came out of Quality Check after 33 days. I was never given a reason why it was stuck there for so long.
From the tracker: Nov. 1: Order Received Nov. 11: Production Begins Nov. 26: Quality Check Dec. 28: Final Assembly Dec. 30: Ready for transport I called my CA who said the car was actually in transport to the port in Mexico which folks on this forum have helpfully listed as Code 190 “In transit to port of exit.” The Genius line said it could still take another 4-5 weeks longer to get to the dealership in Northern California. Hope @atTheGriffindor can get some accurate information and progress. |

My M8 is still stuck in QC since 11/22…. I think it'll be a bit longer as my car has B&W which seems to be taking longer.
I am not sure why they won't just ship it so at least the shipment part is done while waiting for the RAM.

Trust me I said the same thing to this women on the phone today too. My dealer hasn’t done shit until I started to contact people above them. I told this lady the CA’s are useless and don’t care because the car is sold even if I back out of the sale. I will keep you posted brotha

Would love to know if they give you a real update or some BS answer like we've all been receiving. In QC since 11/19. No details on why.

For those that have done the developer tools check trick on mygarage, has anyone else's production date changed? Mine has said 11/5 since the QC step, but I checked today for the hell of it and it now says 12/23.
