I admit I am being totally callous here, I wonder if this will free up CIDS to be placed in our cars sitting in QA? You would think they would want to get something out the factory door.

Well, looks like a lot of us are getting the AMPS and RAMS fixed. IF we can only get the CIDS now the above theory might be correct.

Closing out the recalls isn’t the end of the story. My car has been on Awaiting Carrier Assignment status for over 3 weeks and counting.

Which is exactly why I moved on. I saw al that and I thought, even if I get out of QC, I’m still looking at 2+ months, and I didn’t want to get my car in June, especially with growing potential backlog at the PC.

Great! I bet we see a bunch more this week and hope we all get the hell out of the factory and to the port. Plenty of ships leaving Bremerhaven this month.

My status just changed to "dispatched from factory". I guess they are taking the shutdown time to work on the backlog.

Just got a call from my dealer. Car has been released for transport after 6+ weeks of sitting in Brunswick GA port.

I believe (and appears) they are only shutting down the production line.

Well that could be good news for us in QC... but I'll believe it when I see the cars land in the US with no stop sales.

Read the last couple days of the thread, I remember cases where they showed recalls closed followed by a status change. So I'd say yes!

It's possible that my recalls closed first, and THEN the status changed, but I won't know since I hadn't check the recall tool for a few days.

Not in my case, stop sales closed yesterday, still in QC.
