Quite possibly the worst looking performance cars in recent years. M have officially gone to dogshit. They had a good run.

I admit that I want to see these cars with normal exterior/interior colors, without the black lower rocker panels and with the different wheel options.

I have liked the design since the beginning (and still do). These pics, in the absence of new information about packages, options, etc., are difficult to digest.

I was very on the fence about IoM Green and these weirdly photoshopped pictures give me no indication as to what the color will look like IRL.

I do not feel there is enough discussion on what happened to the M3 badge...

My theory is these are base photos that are touched up by different markets to reflect their specific needs. so if your market will not even offer the base car they can photoshop a competition badge on it. The M3 from the Instagram teasers (which looks to be the same car) clearly has an M3 badge in the teaser.

I like it. The front is...something. Black would be best, heh. But I like it enough to not hate it.

The flares seem a little lost in photos, but I bet it looks ridiculously wide in person

I’m perfectly fine with the grill. The IOM green color though looks absolutely awful.

That poor M4. That exterior color and the blue accent on the interior. Bold but not attractive.

I agree but am withholding judgment until we see the official photos and videos today at 6 pm EST.

If it looks bad, well, f**k it, I'm going Fire Orange Individual.

Not excited to upgrade to it. Maybe once I see one on the road I'll feel differently.
When I first saw the f82 I wanted it bad and I still think she looks great.
I'm sure the new one will be a beast though.

Garage List
I saw it live on M Track day in NY, After the shock of the grill was over and looked at the rest of the car....the only thought that came to mind when i saw the hood was "are taking ques from the 2014 dodge challenger ?????" This is why it doesn't have a power dome?

The car was much, much uglier in the front in person... Borderline revolting... The interior was very nice though!

Hardly the dubsesd car we’re all pretending it was.

With that said, the new design is pretty bad. And it’s not even the grille. The front bumper design actually offends me more.
I think this is the best point made so far. Compared to the 2014 pre LCI version, the G80 sh*ts all over the F80 (for me). Actually, compared to my F80 CS, I would take the G80. It looks so dated to me and I'm dying to get back into a 6MT.

So much right with this car, just two epic fails, grills are just way too big and no hofmeister kink. Still a little too busy for a BMW IMO, but oh well. I am 35 and I feel too old for this car.

I admit I do not frequent forums primarily comprised of females but I can't imagine 20+ more estrogen filled pages exists on the internet today. I love all the salty tears. Bravo!

As for the car I still have to see it in person to come to a full conclusion but after being apprehensive at first I have to applaud BMW for sticking with it as these cars are going to get a lot of attention for better or worse and IMO the worst thing that can happen to an automaker like BMW is for your vehicles not to be noticed and the reality is that the F80 was so anonymous of a car that the M2 unseated it as the M car to have. This is a step in the right direction for sure and the haters can keep their F80's forever or move to another brand as the reality is life will go on at BMW message boards with or without you.
