Nope, politely asked - I'd rather keep a good relationship with the brand I love the most, so I took it down.

Ahhh they took off Thick Whips G80 Manual review. Dealer let him drive it around and he reviewed it . He said it felt numb and would just get the Auto Competition over the 6 speed due to all the electronics and numb feel. Hmmmm

BMW is genius - the slow tease - reminds me of Meatloafs "Paradise by the dashboard lights".

The OP is the reviewer and can explain better but as an observer I understood it as that the G8X is returning to the more surgical character of the cars before the F8X. More linear and predictable power delivery and steering with a more settled chassis.

Yes, definitely less visceral and raw than the F8X. More smooth, in both power delivery and the way the car goes down the road. Where an F8X always felt on a knife edge to me with the way the torque was delivered, I feel like the G82 I drove, at least in base form, was much more linear. The steering is also more reactive off center and sharper. The car feels much more planted than the F8X does - that may be due to the wider tires and revised damping (the car rides far better and is less crashy).
The one thing I will say is that the F8X feels more.....on its toes than the G82 did. But I was extremely impressed and loved my time in it.

FWIW, a C63 is about 4000 lbs.....so right in line with the G8X, only heavier. A 2021 Audi S4 is about 3900 lbs. as well.
