Financing is more lucrative, why would they skip you — if anything they would be skipping cash deals

Dealers actually prefer financing/leasing over cash as it is a chance to make more money via rate increases...and also a better way to hide things in payments.

Been waiting since Dec which I guess isn't as bad as some others but still.....I dont know how much longer I can wait. Don't want to get the car in winter of '22

This has been a crazy week. I went from giving up on allocations for a new G80 to deciding to buy an F80 to finding the perfect F80 and going to the dealership to drive it but the dealership not budging on the price at all to getting a call for an allocation right after and going back to buying a G80 within a day.

It truly is crazy how fast life can change and the butterfly effect of it as well. If that dealer had budged even 1k lower on the F80 I would be driving an F80 for the next 3 years. Pure madness.

Congrats! Did you end up getting an allocation from Bill Jacob's or different dealership?

Thanks. Different dealer. I pulled out of Bill Jacobs and thankfully they refunded me

My local dealership has gotten 6+ allocations in a month once as I've heard, but no I found another dealer out of state with a spot available

*Update - randomly my SA called yesterday and they received some random 1-off allocation on Thursday afternoon for March production.

They all thought it was a glitch but its a real allocation and available to modify. I was next in line so its mine! Heading in on Monday to complete the spec.
