Update:
RAM recall just closed in the evening today.
For those keeping track, car got to VPC NJ on Oct 11.
Let's see how long it takes to get the car delivered considering dealer is less than 30 miles from the port....

Oof - my car just got to the NJ VPC today and I was hoping it might be completed in less than a week optimistically. Might not be the case based on your timeline at least.

Where did you get that snip showing the status?

they both work very well.

the first link showed that the recall finally closed and the second link confirmed there was no longer an open recall.
Today the car flipped to in transport from at the port

All in all less that 30 days. Genius says it should get to the dealer tomorrow. Let's see when I can take delivery.

My Garage also shows the car in transport instead of at the port.

Well good news for me.

So i always check the recall website provided by the awesome member on this site . I check it no lie at least once per hour.

So i was checking over and over this morning and it showed open.

I think i checked at 1pm today and it finally said CLOSED.

I was like yes!!! But then i went on the mybmw site and it still shows, "at the port" though. So maybe tomorrow that'll update to in transit?

Does anyone think i'll be able to pick the car up from the dealer this saturday?

My car was at the NJ port, dealer is in NJ, probably 20 minutes from the port.

I don't want to pick it up during the week next week because of work and i wanna pick the car up during day light.

Anyway i'm just glad the RAM finally shows closed now!

Congrats, you are almost there!! Your status will change when your car is in the truck on the way to the dealership.

NJ port.

Usually it's 1 day to PDI and next day paperwork can be done if your dealer is quick

I won't bother my SA then lol. I don't want to rush it. If i have to take a day off work next week to go get it i rather do that than hope to pick it up this saturday. Would be cool to drive it around this sunday though.

So here's my timeline:
Monday night, recall check site shows RAM recall closed
Tuesday morning: status flips from "at the port" to "in transit"
(like you the dealer was less than 30mins away from port
Wednesday morning: status flips from "in transit" to "at dealership
(dealer still wasn't aware the car had arrived). We spoke, he found the car and said he needed time for PDI + DMV stuff, soonest I can pickup is Fri evening.
Considering your status flipped like a day after mine, I think Saturday is a reasonable day to anticipate pickup.

Thanks man lol. When i first joined this forum i thought it would be easy to wait but it was actually hard. Especially when you know your car is about to get built, then getting shipped over, then waiting for the RAM stop sale to clear etc, i'm just glad it's finally at the dealer.

I'm definitely going to be taking pictures when i get it. I'm excited to drive it already.

Are you in NNJ or CNJ? Monday shows rain too lol.

I think if i'm unable to get it saturday but it's ready for pick up, i'm going to call out from work tuesday to get it since it'll be sunny.

This car will be driven in all weather conditions so i don't really care. I just hoped for good weather when i pick it up.

Took delivery early today. I'll be writing an initial thoughts thread but holy f*** this is way way way better than my outgoing F8x cars.

My car landed in NJ on 11/7 from the Splendid Ace and am waiting with the Stop Sale for the Ram - dealer has no clue as to when this will be cleared. Am following along to see how everyone else is doing

I was on the Splendid Ace as well that docked in NJ. My only stop sale (amplifier) was cleared yesterday and am awaiting transport to dealer any day now. Hopefully today it'll leave the port.
