Just picked up my Dravit Grey on Fiona Red M3Cx. Wheels are Superspeed RF05RR 19x9.5 ET10 5x112 CB66.6 Satin Bronze with Bridgestone Blizzak 275/35R-19 Winter Tires. This is an option that looks great on Dravit! You can get the wheels from Canada: Wheelsco.ca or Super-speed.ca

Finally took delivery of my M3 and instantly threw the winter setup on.

I also bought the winter package from WheelsCo and I absolutely love them. Fast delivery and reasonably priced.

Almost got that setup from WheelsCo. They were very helpful and good price, just chickened out on the bronze wheels and they were out of matte black. Looks great with your paint colour.

QQ: Did you just add TPMS Sensor separately to the cart on the website and if so did you have any issues when you had them mounted to the car?

I bought the same wheels from WheelsCo and I added the TPMS Sensors to the cart after I added the wheel package to the cart. I'm pretty sure they will prompt you to purchase them once you add the wheels to the cart and are ready to check out.

I've had no issues after mounting them. As soon as I threw them on I resetted the tire settings in the car while switching them to "Winter Wheels" and everything works great.

FWIW, I had to call TireRack to get a decent package of tires and wheels and to get TPM sensors - the website said they were out of stock when I ordered them in November, but the rep (name of Ford) called tech support or equivalent and got confirmation that they did in fact have TPMS in stock that would fit and work. I went with the Forged One FF06 in Satin Graphite (19x9.5) on all four corners with 275/35R-19 Vredestein Wintrac Pro tires (not many to choose from). Total cost mounted, balanced and shipped to the dealer was $4,262.86

I think they look great on my Frozen Black M3 - haven't really taken any pictures of the wheels, but you can kinda sort see them in these photos, and of course you can check them out online...

How does ordering from wheelsco.ca work if you are located in the US. From what I read, you have to pickup the wheels at your nearest airport and go through the process of clearing customs yourself? Did you have any issues doing that?

Also, did the wheels all get shipped in separate boxes or were they in a wooden crate since they were shipped by air freight?

It was easy. Shipped to the house in boxes. Two wheels at a time. Packaged very well. I got rims only. Im not sure how they’d pack them with if you get the wheel and tire pack. Send them an email—they were very responsive to me.

By the way, they shipped them by ground to me.

Has anyone been able to fit either Blizzaks or other “hardcore” dedicated winter tires onto 826M’s in stock size (19 front/20 rear)? I’d really love to keep the 826M’s on and have a hardcore winter tire on them. Just wish to know if it’s possible.

I’m wondering this too… another possible option would be to buy 2 more 826Ms in 19” and then sell the 20s. Then you’re only buying one and a half sets of wheels instead of two full sets. (Or just two wheels instead of four.)

Or ask someone to trade their two stock 19s for your two stock 20s. Seems like many want 20s all around.

I don’t know that I’d call them hardcore, but continental makes all season tires that fit stock wheels - ExtremeContact DWS06 plus. That’ll probably be enough for me living near Charlotte, NC. But I’m not sure where you live and if those would work.

My understanding is that the Pirelli sottozero 3 are the only winter wheel that comes in stock 19/20 sizes , but did that change? There are no options on tire rack.
Could it be that winter wheels are not available this time of year?

There's a general shortage of tyres, so it's good to check periodically and other sources (eBay is a really good one) for tyres. My Michelin Pilot Alpin 5's came from a BMW dealer (getbmwparts, highly recommended!) while TireRack has been consistently sold out.

I’ve been searching for the rears. Is this the correct link?

Can anyone offer some guidance on when manufacturers start rolling out their inventory for winter tires? I've had an S5 for 5 years and the Audi quatrro paired with Continental DWS06 all-seasons never had a problem in any condition. Taking delivery of a G80 sedan (save the manuals!) in October which I'll be trading the S5 for so first time looking for winter tires. If the market is what it is and I can't get anything better for the RWD G80, I'll probably limp around with another set of the Conti's (19/20 826s on the G80-to-be), but would like to find something more suitable on October without dropping 5k or playing around with a square setup.

Car looks great. No problem having all 19" wheels? Do you have to make any adjustment since the car is set up for 19/20?

Short answer is probably by October. I’ve seen some winter tires on tire rack for other cars already.

Where do you live? I run all season on my g80 in the winter and they’re totally fine. Might be worth considering.

I've been refreshing Tire Rack, but I'm convinced with what BMW did with the wheel specs (and after doing a ton of reading on here), BMW doesn't want new M cars driven in the snow!

I live between northern NJ (level with NYC) and upstate NY near Albany. I love the Conti's but they've always been on a heavier AWD car. I'm nervous to run them in the winter given the board's sentiment with RWD alone...don't want to buy a $90k car then have it end up wrecked 4 months later because I didn't put the correct shoes on it..At the same time, this isn't a 700hp Corvette so I still don't know what to make of it..
