Both the F8x and E9x M3s will both go down as classics.
Think people need to stop focusing on the grill,
The Overall car looks good, more aggressive than previous generations, aggressive lines throughout all models, and Bmw is all about the drive so just wait for the drive, Coming from the M4 owner the C 63 looked better last year but when it comes to driving I'll take my m4 any day. And the Audi rs5 just don't handle corners. Just a good drag car

The F80 will age well just like the e46 M3 and e30 M3. These cars look amazing in stock trim.

Can't wait to see 4 door G80 M3!!!
By far the best ageing car is the E92 M3. It will look a classic always in future.

This reminds me so much of all the negative reactions to this: https://www.7post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1074249

Same comments: "BMW must be fooling us" "this is a joke" "goodbye BMW, hello audi"

The overreactions to spy photos and leaks followed by seeing the car in real life and loving the look. Pretty sure we will see the same play out. I personally like the leak and look forward to seeing the full thing

Yikes. Will need beer goggles to cope with that look. But I'm sure there is a law about beer and driving.

It’s hard to believe that a car design team at a company like BMW could come up with something this terrible looking. The new 4 series is an awful design and this looks even worse.Hopefully they don’t ruin the design of the new M2 like they have done with this car.

Time to grab an F87 before production ends. New one will most definitely be uglier, bigger, heavier, and lose the DCT for those not getting a manual.

Still looks dreadful.

But it is clear that BMW doesn't care what I think.

Not excited for this car at all like I was for the past 3 renditions.

I think it looks really good. don't know why everyone is always hating. takes the design forward. don't forget the original BMWs had horizontal grills.

everyone on this forum always criticizes because things look "different". --- At least that hasn't changed in the past 20 years!

C63 coupe / RS5 are much better looking cars. Not sure how you to intelligently defend this thing unless you're absolutely wedded to the brand at all costs.

Also - where does a US front plate go? I never run a front plate, but for those who do...
Probably a license plate mount with a notch cut out for the vertical center line.
