M4 vs. M2 ride quality

Have heard that M rides are "tight," though G-series are better than previous generations.

Any thoughts on M2 vs. M4 ride quality? Have rattles developed?

I'm looking for a daily driver and am focused on these two due to their offering manual transmission. Not naive...my 991 Carrera S rides great for a sports car...would either BMW be similar? Thanks VERY much for any insight.

Not sure about M2, but my current M3 rides better than my Tesla Y or my previous C43 AMG and about as good as my Audi S4 I had. Much better than the E90 M3 I had previously.

Basically it rides much better than I expected.

I have owned both a g87 and a g82, they both ride the same in my opinion, like a sports car, firm, but not break your back tight. I enjoy it.

I had a 991.1 Carrera S. I think that the G80 does ride pretty similar. Stiff but compliant.

Tesla Model 3 and Y ride like straight garbage. Seriously, a Radio Flyer wagon has a better ride.

M4 is better choice, if you put everything in comfort, it drives like a GT not a sport car.

They have the same chassis and suspension, you can expect similar characteristics.

Felt more Gs in the G87 M2 when I drove it at the Performance Center last weekend being smaller and shorter than the M4. You get tossed left and right more easily IMO.

F87 M2 is totally a different story!

Definitely. In comfort mode, this car is plenty comfortable for long drives and it can be easy to forget the kind of car you're actually driving.
