Fitment was great! Everything lined uo and snapped tight. You have to remove the inner liner, which is pretty simple, to install them. Definitely worth the $170!!!

I think I’m going to peel off the red vinyl boarder on the CS grille.

Below is without the red pinstripe. I like it better without, especially with the dravit paint.

Much better. I don’t like the red stripes, even on a factory CSL.

I know it’s cold there. Makes me miss the North East but not that. But that salt…giving me oggidita.

I appreciate your testing these out. Based our your experience with them, I took the plunge and just ordered a set. Not sure whether they are going on my M3 or my wife's M4 convertible.

If it was anywhere close to 35-40 degrees I would give her a nice foam cannon wash. Unfortunately, it’s only 18 degrees right now in Pittsburgh with 20mph sustained winds. It looks like we won’t make it back into the 30’s until next Monday at the earliest. I hate that salt on there, but it was a fun drive in the snow to and from Washington, PA yesterday!

Appreciate that. But they are still carbon, yes? As I said above, kind of a waste to paint over carbon ducts in gloss black.

appreciate you offering them for those who want them though!

Got my gloss black ducts after 3 weeks shipping from China. Look pretty good! Will post pics when installed, but quality is high (for a piece of black plastic, lol).

Installed the eBay gloss black air ducts mentioned by tatarwj and made a video for those who had concerns about the fitment/install process

Great to see/hear this! Anyone put any sort of mesh behind it to help protect any damage to the coolers behind them? Not sure if anyone makes a custom fit mesh to work with these or the OEM CF version?

Heck, black plastic chicken wire mesh might work well!?

Zunsport makes an Outer Grill Set, however it goes in front of the air ducts so kind of defeats the purpose.
If anyone would be interested in the below, please PM me

- Great protection for those who heavily track their cars or want added protection for the other coolers
- Can offer a heavy discount off the original price, and provide free installation, just need to document the process on your car on my Youtube Channel: SundeepM3
- Located preferably near Philly/South Jersey
- Must have stock "Honeycomb grills", doesn't appear to work on aftermarket air ducts

Just received my ebay versions in last week. Looked at the car and the ducts and I'm wondering why folks are adding the mesh? Appears to already be a plastic "mesh" in front of the OEM coolers already. Not sure adding more will benefit much and would reduce the cooling?? Guess if someone added bug screen it would prevent more issues - but not sure if much else is adding much of a benefit??

I had to adjust the fit a bit because the foam liner they use to prevent squeaking, squeezed out. Fixed after the picture. It’s exactly the look I was going for!

Good luck with the install. Not a bad job but take your time!
I’d have to agree with you about the added mesh, not sure why it’s needed there.

Looking forward to your pics!
Were you able to find a shop for the install? Or doing it yourself?

Having a shop do it as I am also doing other stuff as well at the same time, in particular the Turner skid plate.

Well, based on the fact that the area north of Houston where I live and the shop is got between 4" and 8" of rain between 6 and 10 AM this morning, needless to say I didn't make it to the shop. I tried, I really did. But after I hit one section of deep water on the feeder road and then another was showing on my route, I abandoned it and ended up wasting an hour and 20 minutes. So....will need to re-schedule. POOP.

Looks like the weather down there has been extreme! Frustrating for sure but good you turned around. No need to risk it for mods. Hopefully you can reschedule soon enough.
