6MT Chattering Sound

I drove without music on today and noticed that there is a chatter sound when the clutch just starts to engage in 1st gear and it goes away when the clutch is fully engaged. I looked on F80/E92 forums and it seems like this is normal and others have experienced it but just wanted to confirm with G80 6MT folks that this is normal for us as wel.

I did some tests and no matter how slow I release the clutch, I will still get that sound. The only time I can’t hear it is if I take off at above 1.5k rpm but that might be because the sound of the engine is covering up the sound of the chatter.

Appreciate the feedback!

Yep, mine chatters a bit as well. Even my old e46 325i 5MT did this as well. Same with my e60 530i 6MT.

The only other manual cars I've driven have been a Camaro LT1, 67 Mustang, and 2001 Bullit mustang, and I've never experienced the chatter on those.
