Look for "bmw g80 exhaust flaps fully open" on youtube if it still doesn't work

Teah link still doesn’t work. Just searched it up. How much of a difference is it between oem sport+ and valves fully open?

Something wrong on your end, i tried like 3 browsers to this post and all work.
When you quote my post the link is XbSY4-c%9730 but the actual link is XbSY4-c--30

Honestly there's a huge difference in sound with the flaps fully open, not sure why bmw doesn't fully open them, the car sounds like ass with them closed.
To me sport+ simply pumps in more fake noise inside the cabin, i can't even hear the exhaust at all with the windows open and sport+.
You can open up the flaps yourself https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=377 then if you like the sound get the controller to open/close them.

Has anyone had any luck pairing the remote to the garage opener? I can’t seem to get it to work.

I just successfully paired the home link buttons. I’m using the center button as “open” and the right button as “close”.

Try these steps…
  1. Get in car, close door, press start/stop button (don’t start the car)
  2. Press and hold the home link button you want to program. After a little bit a light in the mirror will blink orange. When it starts blinking let go. (The car manual says it can take up to 20 seconds to start blinking. In my case it happened almost immediately)
  3. Hold the remote right up next to the buttons and press and hold the button on the remote you want to use for that home link button.
  4. When the light on the rear view mirror turns green, programming will be complete and you can let go of the remote button.

To program the second button for whatever reason I needed to get out of the car, lock it, then go back in and repeat those steps. At first I tried it right after and it seemed like it worked but it didn’t really. Getting out/locking it and starting over for the second button did the trick.

Thanks for your instructions.
Worked perfectly.
When I press mirror button 1 it started blinking right away too. Not rapid blink just regular orange blink.
While keeping the mirror button depressed I put the Dahler remote near the mirror and held down the open button. The mirror led turned green.
Repeated the same for button 3 for programming the close function.

Started the car and buttons function as promised.
The difference from the Dahler remote is that while with the Dahler remote the valves close and open immediately, with the mirror buttons there is about a one second delay.

Thanks again

Ordered one and it came yesterday with this tab broken.

Happen to anyone else?

Guessing this is the tab you press to disconnect it.

Hopefully it won’t be a headache to exchange.

Oh no is the tab important or can you put some electrical tape on it?

Not sure. I think it’s the tab I’d need to press in order to remove the clip if I wanted to take it off.

Both of the tabs on my oem connectors for the valves are already broken off :/ i would just install it personally, not a big deal it is just an extra safety against the connector coming off.

Ok thanks. Good to know. I’ll wait to see what the company I bought it from says on Monday and go from there.

Was planning on doing it after the memorial day holiday but I’ll wait to see what the company says.

I ordered a set yesterday from Mike@x-ph and cannot wait to get them. I was going to get the AWE Track exhaust but simply love the original sound.
Now the Dahler module will enhance it so much more.
