Anyone Else Missing Hood Insulation?

So on my 2022 G80, it looks like it's missing hood insulation. But it looks like it's got the spot and snap-holes for it.

For reference, here's a 2022 X6M.

Yep I noticed a few days ago. Holes are there, but no insulation.

Mine is a 2022 Comp XDrive

Not cool. My 1993 325is had hood insulation. They need to make this right.

I thought that the M cars deliberately had less sound deadening and insulation in order to give the driver a more raw driving experience.

My G82 has none. My F82 didn't either. I don't think my 2004 E46 M3 had it either.

My E92 M3, F80 M3 and current M2 don't have it... it's intentional.

Neither of my two previous F80s had hood insulation and my 2021 G80 doesn't. I did not even know hood insulation was a thing until this thread. I guess non of my past cars have had it.

Yep, it'll be intentional, my pre-LCI/non-Comp pack F82 doesn't have it either. It does have the OG carbon fibre driveshaft though

My 2002 M3 had it. Probably they stop using it after that.
