When you put it that way… :

It wasn't clear to me this was his car, otherwise my comment would have been shock at how dynamic the colour photographed rather than wonder if it was another colour. I've seen plenty of threads with photos of cars spotted at dealerships with debate of which of the several Individual blues the paint could be.

That all aside, I like it a lot.

No worries my friend, wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, I just had to comment as I found all the very confident 'no its not' type comments a bit amusing.

Hey ho, at the end of the day it doesn't really matter, they're 'only' cars as my missus would say - except to us lot they do matter

Haha, yes. I thought it was funny too. A lot of these BMW colours are so dynamic (and similar). Another thing that's funny: when else so you see (mostly) men arguing about slight variants in shade?

Turns out maybe we can tell the difference, and do care in the right circumstances.

Well, closed cockpit so there is really no optimization beyond minuscule weight savings. In a convertible, I would argue for a fauxhawk for additional lateral stabilization. I found that longer hair is only mildly inconvenient in my F22 inside a balaclava and helmet.

I think hat selection is a more important topic, as top hat and monocle do not work in the G80 due to lack of headroom and tendency for monocle to become unseated during cornering. Those that disagree with me are wrong, and should be banned from this forum, obviously.

It looks like Mexico Blue to me, IMO for what its worth. Wife doesn't like it that much, I love it. Black wheel and red calipers, what else can you ask for And yes, this color does make the front grill look more pronounced, exactly what attracted me to it.

Note: the OP's original picture does seem to be altered or enhanced to make it look more professional(?)
