Maintenance Schedule G80 M3
Hello, apologies in advance if this is a redundant topic. I own 2022 G80 M3 Competition. I am coming from MK7 Golf R platform. With MK7, it was easy goggle search to find maintenance schedule for spark plugs, haldex AWD system, etc. I was wondering if there is something similar available for the G80. Thank you

How many miles? Just hit one year at relatively low mileage of 7500. Standard oil and filter change and vehicle check. BTW….tires may be due for change in AWD at 15,000.

Unfortunately BMW has pushed the whole thing about bringing your car in when it's say to bring it in. The maintenance ones I go by are fairly simple and straight forward.
1. Oil and oil filter change every 7500-10K 2. Tire rotation during each oil change 3. Spark plugs every 36K (this one is a bit tricky, with my 5 series they lasted at least 40-50K miles, but with M cars I've heard that 36K is the mark to track) 4. Engine air filter every oil change or every other (10K - 20K) 5. Transmission oil change every 40K-60K - you should be able to find the exact interval from ZF (do not believe any BS about it's a lifetime fluid) 6. I can't remember the source but I remember reading somewhere that fuel injectors are good for 60K or so. In my own experience I'll be airing on the side of caution with this one, my old 5 series had a failed injector that lead to a bad catalytic converter. I lucked out with the catalytic converter being replaced under warranty but it was still a hassle as my local dealership had a hard time isolating the issue. 7. Routinely check the overall components as BMW love their plastics. |

How long does the one year oil change/vehicle check normally take? I scheduled mine for early morning this Friday but also have a PPF/ceramic coat check up later in the day in the afternoon so I’m wondering if I will have enough time.

The work itself shouldn't take that long but you'll be at the mercy of how crowded the service department is for that day but since your appointment is early in the morning I don't think it'll take them no more than 1.5-2hrs. I scheduled my break-in service at 11:45AM and got the car back at about 330.
