I have a week 47 BMW M3 Xdrive on order and I don't want it anymore, as I just bought a 2022 Porsche 911. Can I sell my allocation? If so, how would I go about doing that?

- Tanzanite Blue / Brown leather
- Drivers Assistance & Executive Packages
- Laser lights, ventilated seats, carbon fiber trim, red calipers

I got my car at MSRP so I could actually save someone money, as they are going for $5-10k over MSRP. All I want is my $2500 back. Not looking for profit. Such a illogical and unnecessary comment.

I apologize then. I thought you were looking to sell it and make a profit. A bunch of ppl have tried doing that and were given a hard time.

If you are just looking for your deposit back then I think that fair. I would check with your dealer first. I know a lot of them dont let ppl do that.

You can get your deposit back, at least here in Italy, if the car is delayed. I don't know how things works on the US market, but I think that is easy for you to find a new customer for your allocation.

No matter what the dealership tells you unless you took delivery of the car your deposit is 100% refundable. Even if they told you it’s “non-refundable”. They absolutely will fight you on it but just threaten to call bmw NA and get a lawyer involved. BMW NA will side with you as they know there’s no such thing as a non refundable deposit. 10/10 times you’ll see a refund real quick once you take it to that step.

Do it! Make the car how you want it and full leather is a no brainer option in these cars. In my last M3, I didn't spec full leather and it was my biggest regret. It's a crap shoot right now.
I changed interior color on my current build and got moved to a different build week (at least I think this contributed)…
Just now, I added carbon buckets to my build but stayed in the same build week.
You just never know.
Build the car how you want it! Add that full leather now!
