8 hours later doing a wash, Decon, clay, 2 step correction, and csl ceramic with exo5 topper. Cloudy day, but I think it came out great! First time diy detailing in the books!

Looks like a USDOT spec M3 but you're in the UK...Military? Hope you get back after the break-in!

I placed my order a couple weeks back, and it was for Skysraper Gray...I finally went with my heart/younger side, and switched it to IOMG! CF buckets in KO, going to do all my own carbon fiber parts, lots of OEM+ mods will be done. Supposed to be built around late October. I'll receive it just in time to put it away for winter

I was aware there was an IOMG twin on base. The young guy I sold my Yas F80 to mentioned there was a car very similar to mine over by where he works on the flight line. I’ve also been aware because I’m getting waves from people I don’t know who clearly think I’m you. 🤣

First wash (except for that time when the ceramic coat was applied)!! And it looks like I need to drop that front end and push out the wheels. I think I also want a front lip.

I’m planning on doing my own. Have all the parts in my garage hopefully I can make it work. I did a tail light swap in my F80 so I know that part will be pretty straightforward. I also have to run a wire from the panel in the front to the back in order to make the rear fogs work. If I flame out I guess I’ll have to call Warne.

Side note did you get your front windows tinted? If so where?

I did, give Patrick a call at Defined Studios, he has done PPF and Ceramic coating on the car. Best price around, very detailed and backs up his work. He just recently moved to a new location in Brandon from Bury St Edmunds. www.detailingsuffolk.co.uk
