Check your settings on all of those, and then also check how they're set in each driver profile. If you turn them all off in one but then use another or Guest because you have the other key, they'll default to that profile setting(s).
Thanks, I kept going back to the same setting through the HUD menu and the one which was bothering was indeed a different one. For thread posterity, Car::Settings::General Settings::Speed Warning.

Looks like you got the AI package, and that is the car looking at you, silently judging if it should take over or not .

Yes, normal. Gaskets, adhesives, plastics, hoses, moving parts, everything is settling, baking in, expelling gases, etc. due to high temperatures and stress. Things are happening inside the engine as well.
Once everything settles, smell stops, that's why it's called "break-in" process and it's so important.

That's the Cylon. All of this has happened before, all of this will happen again.

I assumed that was a driver monitor to make sure you’re paying attention/looking ahead for the autonomous functions.

Exactly, Driver Attention camera. I got the Driver Assistance Pro Package, which I believe is why the camera was installed. It monitors me and if I'm not paying attention and I'm about to slam into someone, it'll warn me and do some breaking.

I get the squeaking ever so often, but it's really not a big deal. I can't recall what prompts them to squeak -- I think if it's raining they'll squeak a bit when cold, but so far it's only happened a few times and not even bad enough for me to be annoyed.

I get squeaking with the regular brakes even every so often.

Same. Someone posted (and I think it's in the manual) that you're actually supposed to give the brakes a hard stop every now and again to clear them up. I do that and the squealing goes away for a good while.

Also normal for high performance brakes to squeak every now and then. Mostly when they are cold.

Read lots of comments about the HK audio and most compared to other previous cars. I can’t recall anyone that compared the HK audio to the G05. Anyone here with a 19 or newer G05 with HK, is the sound quality similar?

Yes, it is and I tested it... it is pretty "smart", it knows that if you are not looking forward on the road (tried different ways of looking away), even with sunglasses on. But I did test it with my eyes closed while wearing sunglasses, the full auto pilot was still engaged as long as you head is forward... so in traffic, I can take a quick nap with a sunglasses on BTW, the auto pilot is pretty good, make turns very accurately - I tested it with a twisty local road while in traffic - really enjoyed this feature

Hmmm never saw this option on the Canadian site.

I meant are you doing short drives, mostly stop/go? If so, battery may not be getting charged enough, so car goes into a battery preservation mode and throws the warning. Usually had it on my e90s/F30s during winter when I was not driving much highway.
But this error could be something else, BMW is not great at explaining the errors in iDrive unfortunately, they explain with riddles.

Coming close to ordering my M4 Comp. just a few questions since I haven't sat in a G8X in person in awhile.

Ambient lighting - love this in the newer models. Is this standard in all M3/4? Is it the same color combinations across all the BMW's or is there anything added in the M models like the "sport" white colors in the F8X?

12V - is there still a "hidden" plug under the glovebox?

Bimmercode - can we still code things like Video In Motion, ambient lighting brightness, etc?

USB Drive- can we still play videos while in park or coded with video in motion?

Apple CarPlay - full screen like in the current X5?

Steel Brakes - are the pads still swappable without removing the calipers?

Driver Assist Plus - does this now include adaptive cruise control?

Active Sound Design - how obnoxious is the fake exhaust sound? Can it still be disabled? I've heard you can adjust it in iDrive.

Oh I see. I guess I'll need to pay more attention. I think the message did come up after I came back from a short trip. I definitely doesn't display that message every time I start it up.

Heard M4s don't have the "seatbelt reach assistant" but regular 4s do, is this true?
