I find this very strange. Same body. Why don't M4's have it? My only guess is that the automatic reach doesn't work well with carbon seats.

Do any other xDrive owners experience a hard wheel knocking when trying to do a tight turn, like a u-turn, right after a cold start?
I made a u-turn out of a parking space to go the opposite way on a cold night recently, then again a day or two later in my carport. Each time the drive train "knocked" a bit, like a couple of small jolts as I was moving. I've never noticed this happening after driving a warmed up car, only right after a cold start. Is there something in the suspension or drive train that would cause this? And is it typical? Edit: I'm actually thinking it was just the tires slipping on sub-zero cold ground since I'm still on my summer tires. |

I remember sitting in an M440i and it handed me the seatbelt and I was like this is really cool. Then I sit in the M4 and realized it didn’t do that. I was a little bummed out but what can I do. I just gotta reach a bit further to get the seatbelt now

I'm definitely no audiophile (listening to loud rock music in my youth has given me tinnitus later in life). But yes, I went from a 2019 X5 to a 2022 M4Cx, both with H/K sound (with a 2-month gap between them). I'd say overall sound quality is comparable. B&W sound in Fxx or other Gxx BMWs is noticeably better, as you'd expect.

Does the full leather option add any leather to the back of the standard sport seats, or are these still full plastic backs? I'm pretty sure it doesn't, but would love for someone to confirm who has standard seats and full leather.

I've put in an order for an M3 Competition. I know what options I want, but now I'm waffling on the color combination. One part of me says I want something that is bold, but the other part of me is saying I want something stealthy and stylish.
Here's what I'm thinking. Brooklyn Grey Metallic + Fiona Red/Black Interior. (The Bold Option) -OR- Black Sapphire Metallic + Silverstone/Black Interior (The Stealth/Stylish Option) 2 questions. 1. Does the Fiona Red interior match the color of the red brake calipers? 2. Does anyone have any pics of the Silverstone/Black Interior? |
