2025 M4 USA Configurator is up.

I know the pricing guide has been available for a while, but they finally updated the site with the configurator.

The only thing that irritates me is that they now offer galvanic controls (silver window buttons etc.), why is this just on offer now in the US? I would have added to my build in a heartbeat.

would you be happier if they hadn't brought it over?

people complain we dont have something. They bring it. People then complain that they brought the option...

looks like the manual now has the m striped shift boot unless it's just a configurator issue.

I wonder how much the taillights are going to go down in price now that they’re peasant status. Lol

Correct me if I'm wrong but "galvanic controls" are simply silver painted plastic? If so, what's the big deal?

Cuz it kinda matches the door pulls and stuff now for a more premium polished look, that’s all.

Because they need to differentiate the LCI and this is one pretty simple way to do that.

But to make it right, you'll need to add back the laser lights and the interior ambient lighting.

I think they are one of the nicest touches on this car that differentiates it from other mass produced cars with generic black switchgear. They suit a car at this price point much more than the standard buttons.

Oh and in my car they definitely feel like metal so not sure how they are finished. They get just as cold as the door pull and feel noticeably different from any of the plastic controls in the car.

Others may have noticed this from the LCI intro pics, but it appears that they've once again removed the xdrive emblem from the rear of the car. That's a good thing imo.

It'll randomly return in six to nine months.

The long strip in front of the passenger has been replaced by a short strip on top of the center vent. The long strips along the door panels have been replaced by short strips at the bottom of the door handles.

I love the new interior ambient lighting styling cues (see the new 7er and E-Class especially), but they've really nickel and dimed the LCI 4 by greatly reducing it.

Hopefully not as BMW can save 1 € per car now without the xDrive decal.

It's a thin metal coating. Still much nicer than the black plastic. Had them on my G20 M340i and now on the G80.

I painted my door switches with the silver paint I was huffing at the time. Came out pretty decent.
