Don Quijote Oct.13th

Didn't see a thread for this boat yet. It's an east coast boat, it's docked at Bremerhaven now. Not sure if I'm going to be on it or not, good luck to everyone.

I was hoping mine would be on this vessel as well. my M440i GC has been at the port since 9/6, but my tracker has not updated as of today.

I also see that the vessel "Don Carlos" is leaving on 10/19. Hoping to be on that one at least!

If we can somehow obtain the bill of lading (BOL) of the vessel we can check if our VINs are on the boat.

Yeah there's 3 vessels all for the east coast within 2 weeks the Don Quijote was the first one. I think it's too soon for the system to update if we made it on that boat. Some guys from the Hawaiian highway vessel still say at port but they are on the boat. If someone confirms they got on Don Quijote they can provide the BOL for the boat so we can check the list of vins. The bmw genius is no help they seem to not know anything.

The Hawaiin Highway is a Kline and so no way to check the VIN in their BOL. Most people on the HH are in transit. None says still at port anymore. The Don Quijote is a Wallenius ship and if you have the BOL, then you can search ur VIN to see if ur car is already loaded or not. It looks like the genius systems are lagging behind 3-4 days to update theirs.

Is there anyway to get the BOL? I tried to look online however I'm assuming it's like a shipping number and only the dealerships will get it if they have a vehicle on it.

I was looking at Don Q with high hopes that I'm on it.
I doubt it from everything I'd read, especially with some of these wait times (2-5 weeks at port)

My M3 was delivered to Bremerhaven Oct 9th, what are the odds I actually get on Don Q?

Are these the only boats reaching Halifax for GTA Distribution?

Fingers crossed

Well, if you are one of those who are lucky, you might be on it. Usually, the current wait times have been anywhere between 3-5 weeks. I have been at port since 9/14 and there was another from 9/6 but it appears that some have gotten in in 3 weeks too esp going to Canada. Also what priority number seems to matter too. Since Im doing PCD, im priority 9 while customer orders are priority 1 so I guess Im probably being bumped to accommodate the others

Yea I've been reading that. I'm hopeful even though I know it's unlikely. I'm priority 1 so we shall see. Doesn't seem like anyone knows yet because this forum isn't blowing up like the other vessel forums.

In case you want to confirm if your car is on this ship just enter the BOL in the link below and search for your VIN. Looks like mine isnt on it which isnt surprising either

Tell me about it. Going into my 5th week. I deleted my car from the BMW mygarage and not going to check my status till next Sunday. There is the Donnington leaving on 10/17 and Don Carlos leaving on 10/19. If I dont get on either, im just gonna start looking for a car thats in transit to the dealership and buy it. This is getting very annoying. No reason why some cars that reach port 1 wk ago get on the ships and some just wait this long !!!

Yes , its very frustrating lol - some people order a car and go thru the whole process in like 2-3 months , flying thru each step.

They get to port and wait 1-3 days and get on a ship 😅😂

Seriously though… it's really hard to have any sympathy for these guys complaining of weeks to month long port waits when they're only like 3-4 months in the whole process. Then there's some of us coming up on a year wait for their car

Agreed. I ordered mine back in March so not as long as some. If the process to catch a boat were more orderly (FIFO), it would be far less frustrating. High hopes for this week…

I think your expectations are low when you dont have an allocation. When you get an allocation and have your build date, thats when everything goes into hyperdrive. Now if there is some common sense, you would hope FIFO at port would be how things r done, but this is BMW and so, cant really rely on that. Just ask the I4 guys about their wait. I even paid over MSRP for an allocation so I dont have to wait over a year for a car (which is insane..but people have patience...lol). So when its all produced and waiting to ship back and you see others get in after you, its just makes things worse.

These are all the ships I saw were going to east coast and reaching at Brunswick this month. Typically NJ reaches earlier and Charleston leaves late. These dont go to Galveston though

10/6 -10/26 – ARC Integrity
10/6-10/21- Kline Brooklands
10/10-10/25 – Kline Hawaiian Highway
10/13 – 10/30- Don Quijote
10/17- 11/1 – Kline Donnington
10/19 -11/8 – Don Carlos
10/26-11/9- Asian Vision
10/27 – 11/11 – Orion Highway
11/5 – 11/21 - Brooklands
11/12-11/30 – ARC Independence
