Hello,

I would just like to pick your brains. If you were able to obtain a 2023 M3 stick for MSRP, would you consider it a good deal based upon the current state of the market? How are the manual M3's holding their value from what you guys have seen?

Based on my current knowledge of the market (without considering inflationary pressures and other factors determining buyer spending, supply/demand, etc), MSRP is today still the deal to have.

Plenty of manuals on the market in the mid to low seventies that are quite well optioned as well

Is this an allocation or dealer inventory. Either way, MSRP is still a good deal.

Plenty? I haven't been watching much because my car is at port but just checked quickly. Lowest priced M3 6MT appears to be a 30k mile 2021 for 75k. Next closest is 78k with 15k miles.

They will eventually fall though. I'm not unrealistic about it.

I'd call it an average deal. Lots of people getting msrp. If you got anything off, I'd call that a good deal.

Yeah not too common. Though I'm selling my 22 manual with 3k miles for $82k…negotiable.

I just clicked to see your FS thread. You don't have a sticker but based on your post 82k is still well above sticker (at least 8-10k - base wheels, no lasers, no mention of exec or full leather)?

Back to the OP's point. I agree with others who have said sticker on a new build is kind of normal. I haven't seen many people claiming to get below sticker either, though. That's today obviously, the longer you wait the better the deals will be. Prices are obviously trending down quickly.

If it's exactly how you want it then yes. To me if it's not exactly what you want especially color, seats, etc you're giving up something.

agree assuming car is inbound or on the lot
in couple of months , dealers will discount allocations to move them
