Washed car today with power hose and two buckets. Once rinsed drove a short circuit to dry brakes. On parking back home got camera fail message on reversing screen. No cameras worked ie front view failed as well.

Power cycle didn't have any effect.

MY23 so ID8.

Anyone else seen this?

After a couple of hours in the sun cameras working again!

I wash mine very frequently and have it since March 21. Never had any error message like that.
I would let the dealer check your wiring and connectors, as you say it worked after drying in the sun, there may be a connection that is a bit loose or your cable is broken somewhere and making a short circuit when water gets.

Did it place you into sport mode?

I had this on iD8, I locked the doors, then unlocked and rebooted and it was fine.

This was road mode and only after washing. Dealer looking at next week though suspect hard to track down.

Will try a reset as suggested next time it happenes

I thought that as well but dealer says nothing flagged on VIN. I did get a head unit software update on the run in service. Need to do another wash to check.
