Yeah I'd expect they won't make those M5 CS buckets a 1-off and they will reuse them again in the M3 CS.

I hope they don't. With rear bucket seats, you cannot fold the rear seats down, which is really inconvenient for a sedan. 😐

You can't fold the rear seats in any CS, F80 M3 CS, M2 CS or M5 CS.

You will definitely not have foldable rear seats in the next M3 CS.

I have an f80 CS and rear seats fold. I think it depends on 4 seater vs 5.

I've used the folding seats in my cars enough to appreciate the feature but if I were buying a CS type of car, I'd trade folding seats for fixed back rear seats + the large chassis brace that usually comes with that tradeoff. The carbon rear seats would make it a no-brainer for me, personally. Those are my favorite part of the M5 CS.

Seems kind of silly in a sedan to me. I would hope for the rear fold seats. If I don't want the practicality I'd rather have a car that was a sports car from the ground up. They'll probably do the m5cs thing though. I'm not sure they added a brace to that. I know fixed rear seat e90 comes with no extra bracing over the fold seats, having done a rear fold seats swap.

The CS will launch in 2023 when the LCI has long happened already. So it will come with ID8 dash.

The M2 CS rears definitely fold. They were a lifesaver for me a few weeks ago.

Well actually the CF driveshaft aswell as the CF strut brace has been ditched because of the available space being not enough.
They needed more space underneath the car for the PPF in europe, where the CF driveshaft had to go because it was noticeably bigger in diameter.
The CF strut brace was probably costsaving and also they explained in a video that there was not enough space for a stiff enough CF construction.

I'm sure come the CS the hood bump and CF strut brace and light weight lithium battery will be back.

Didn't the original design of the CF strut brace on the F8x have problems with cracking too?
