Unfortunately no, but I did leave it with my salesperson should a vehicle show up at the dealership with carbon bucket seats, please contact me so I can give them a try. Hopefully I'll be able to try out the buckets before my allocation comes in.

Of course, if you end up hating them, chances are very good that you'll be able to swap them with someone who regrets the standard thrones and maybe even make a couple bucks, considering the vast aftermarket price difference.
That's what I was thinking as well. The other thing is my current ride has the 18-way seats....not Porsche GT3 buckets of course, but similar when it comes to increased lateral support. So I'm used to snug seat with high bolsters on the lower portion of the seat.

Lol, those still look like La-Z-Boys compared to the CF buckets

Good luck finding a set to try out. I suggest saving a query on Autotrader and subscribing for daily alerts; will capture private and other dealerships pretty well (although you'll need to click through each one to verify the seats; descriptions often miss that).

I know, I know....but the lower bolsters on the Macan's firm 18-way seats still require one to lift themselves out of the seat a bit compared to the flatter 14-way seats....so I'm already used to this type of maneuver when exiting the vehicle.

Would've been nice if that video showed people getting in & out of the carbon buckets....

I've test driven a G80 with the carbon buckets and found them comfortable. Getting in and out was a little awkward but I didn't mind it.

I have 2 main reservations with optioning them:
1) they're not available in tartufo and I'm dead set on tartufo
2) with the little CF piece between the legs, I'm not sure how much they'll restrict mobility for the 6MT.

Nothing re: Tartufo, but I had started a thread a couple months back asking about CF buckets and 6MT combo. All respondents, if memory serves, said there's no issue. (I'd link to it but the search function sucks.)

I'm at 2200 miles with about half of them with rev match turned off and I literally never felt bothered by it. Ingress and egress is the only annoyance really.

Agreed. Once you're in they're super comfortable. Last weekend I drove 2.5 hours to visit my brother and was super comfy.

Make no mistake, they are not for heavy or wide drivers. As long you are normal size they are nice. I am hoping the carbon feats are the same
You got that exactly right. I'm 6'4" and 275 with 2 knee replacements, hip replacement and a bad back. Oh yeah, and almost 70 years old. Getting in a car gracefully left my repertoire quite a while ago...
The carbon fiber seats were just not an option.

That's good to hear. In that case if they offer the carbon buckets in tartufo for the 23 model year then I'll probably jump on it.

I spent a good part of a day in an M4 Comp with the Carbon Buckets at M School (I had the only one luckily). I REALLY regret not getting the buckets now, although I did smack the side of my head HARD on the door jam getting in a little to eagerly and forgetting that there was a huge bolster there preventing my ass from sinking all the way down. I now have a bump to prove it.

Regardless, I found them pretty comfy to sit in for 25 minutes at least, and I could have sat in them longer. Most importantly they felt GREAT on the track, especially during hard cornering. This is a definite GET in my book.

However, I did enjoy the ventilated seats in my M4 on the drive home from 90 degree Palm Springs.

These two statements are precisely the challenge for me. Yes, they're a definite get, gorgeous and functional. Except I live in Houston Texas, and ventilated seats are a beautiful thing in this humidity, especially for a won't be tracked semi daily driver.

One of my concerns is durability, this isn't the first pic I see where the drivers seat looks like this.

I'm in production with the standard seats, regret not getting carbon but seeing pictures like this makes me feel better.

Anyone have similar issues?

Your regular seat can do the same thing. Leather is leather.

This would be my biggest concern.

I've sat in a few autos and tried to replicate the shifting motion but still don't have any wheel time.

I've had my 6MT for a month now with the buckets. If you're comfortable in them driving the automatic, you'll be fine with the clutch. It's a non-issue.

Operating the clutch is fine. During heel toe I rotate the knee in slightly and the inner part does rub, but it doesn't bother me. Would rather it not be there though.
