Galvanized Window Controls in the US?

Did a search, and couldn't find anything.

I see galvanized window controls on the European cars, but not on US cars. Unless, they cone with one of the options?

I have been wondering the exact same thing. I would love to have the option.

They might come with it? It's weird that some places get options others don't when they all get made in the same place. Canada has a rear arm rest for example while no one else seems to.

I was wondering about this too...at first I thought it came with only the the full leather option but after a quick check on Autotrader, I guess not... seems like a way to cut costs on US bound cars

That's the other small detail that's missing from US cars. I wonder if the rear armrest will be added with AWD cars.

could you show a photo of rear arm rest?
i checked bwm.ca, not sure which part is the rear arm res.

I've looked at interiors of in-stock, on AutoTrader and Cars.com, all of them have black controls. There are manual and auto cars, on those sites. It's too bad, as the galvanized look really nice.

Maybe for the LCI, they'll include them, much like they did for the f80 climate control.

Based on the configurator rendering looks like it's the same silver metallic finish controls that you can find ppl asking about in the G01 and G20 forums ...tho I think it's just silver painted plastic.

Looks like Canadian packaging has this stuff and rear armrest thrown in ..while US has the gesture control LOL ( Canadian cars only have gesture control and display key in the super chunky ultimate package)

So Canadians get more color options for cheaper (frozen grey and orange) and a rear center armrest and I'm guessing rear heated seats too. Ridiculous it's coming from the same assembly line!

It's ok y'all get full leather for cheaper. I was surprised to see only $2500 upcharge for the full merino options. 4k cad here , well over exchange rate.

A damn trap. Some might not care for it but once you see it, hard to not pay.

it was between full leather or carbon seats for me for the same 4k, went with the latter. Clearly im a dumb millennial without appreciation for finer details

I was legit jealous until you posted that as it's a must have for me. Hopefully the arm rest does come with the xdrive, otherwise I'll figure out getting it fitted. Hate when I'm a passenger and they don't have one, so don't want mine to miss out.

i will see how the extended merino interior turns out. Delivery should happen next week. From the configurator looks like no colored lower dash and the upper door is not stitched, and maybe the sides of centre console is not leather either.. hopefully the knee rests are padded with something at least!

Well it will consist of best mates and road trips so I don't mind making them comfy.

I think you're about to be disappointed with the knee rest leather, I can't recall which video, maybe Doug (I've seen so many!), which stated that was part of the extended. I'm hoping for you tho!

The M3 I went to see didn't have a rear armrest and it was a comp with full leather carbon interior etc. so it was pretty well equipped. I was so surprised that it didn't have a rear armrest.

Full leather gets you leather basically everywhere except for the transmission tunnel sides (below the front armrest). I did notice knee pads on the transmission tunnel were leather, but that was in a full leather car.
