Have any vert owners investigated euro rear headrests?

So, the quick snarky answer is to say to just take them out. For those of us that will actually have a rear passenger more than occasionally, this is too much of a pain, and the holes will drive my ocd nuts.

On my previous 3 cars (S3, Macan, and i-pace) euro headrests solved the issue. (For the i-pace, it was a royal pain, but euro f-pace headrests ended up working.)

Wondering if anyone has investigated this? The rear headrests in the euro M3 look promising...

What's the difference between US and Euro rear G83 headrests, wasn't aware?

For the g83, they appear identical .

Check them out for the g80 (and I'm wondering if they would fit.)

For my jag, this took begging someone on the co.uk forum to measure the space between their posts

Right ok, I was sure they were the same from photos I'd seen. From my limited time in G23 and G83s (showroom cars) the rear bench is quite a bit more vertical than the coupe of saloon. I feel the headrest design is very slim to work with this. Putting a more bolstered G80 headrest in might be pushing the head too far forwards but I'm not sure.

As you'll know the G83 rears are fixed height too and not designed to be removed but obviously can be and there was a good thread on here showing how to.

Good luck with the project, will be interesting to see how it works out for you. I'd offer to measure but G82 here which themselves are fixed cushion extensions. I'm certain they must be identical distance between the poles though.

Even if they fit, that doesn't mean they'll do the job correctly.

Don't get me wrong. I'm interested in this as well, but i will never have any backseat passengers in my g23.

What does a set of headrests cost? Can't be cheap.

In my experience, the two together usually run between $450 and 750ish.

Why not just remove the headrests and store them in the trunk. If they can easily pop in/out - you could just put them back in if you put people in the rear.

I personally think the car looks fine WITH the headrests..but if they drive you nuts - pull them out and put them in the trunk.

This might help although not sure they will ship internationally.

https://www.online-parts.co.uk/bmw-s...atalog_details

You might be able to use something like this:

https://forwardvia.com/buy-from-the-uk-and-ship-to-usa

Or alternatively put your trust in someone UK based on this forum.
