Things I pulled out of my grill thread

It's hilarious to me that BMW doesn't care to fix this issue, but I've had some seriously weird items get through my grill and stuck behind.
In my latest clean up I pulled out the following:
  • Beef and Bean Burrito Wrapper
  • Granola wrapper (at least it was organic)
  • A 6in piece of black tarp
  • Napkin
  • Cigarette Butts (multiple)
  • Painters Tape
  • About 2 handfuls of leaves

From my F80 the weirdest things were:
  • A broken tow hook (the loop part)

My weapon of choice to assist with my efforts

I use that same grabber! Love it. It also comes in handy to retrieve a fumbled nut or bolt from a tight spot.

It's only a matter of time before someone like Zunsport makes a mesh insert to protect the rad fins. I've seen some good DIY ones. If your tracking, it's a must have.

Haven't had to pull anything out of the grill but have had rocks wedged tight between the bumper and the headlight and between the cf lower vents and the bumper.

Lol, pretty clean roads? The roads in H-Town are the dirtiest I've ever driven. And having lived in DC and NYC, that says a lot.

Too much stuff flies out of the back of pickups around here. It's terrible. I've had to dodge cones, lampshades, mattresses, ladders, etc. So many rocks off my windshield. And a huge metal object that I couldn't see in the dark totaled my Tesla. I live in TW and used to work in Energy Corridor and had jobs all over town so got to see my fair share of every highway around here.

Tumbleweeds. When it gets really windy here on the Front Range in spring, here they come. Fortunately, don't do any damage.

If you are worried about the radiator taking a hit install a sheet of Nomex honeycomb.

Spray it black with high temp outdoor grill paint.

Make a template & cut with a shop knife to fit.

I’m looking into getting a g80 in the near future I personally wash my cars is it possible to use a pressure washer and foam canon on the csl style grill and not damage the car at all?

Let me see:
  1. Cigarette butts
  2. Broken glass
  3. Leaves
  4. Chunk of wood that took out my mesh of Vorsteiner grille.
Had to remove bumper and reinstall mesh.
