I guess I'm in the 1% minority as my G83 was below MRSP at buy rate MF.
Thanks. Was your deal in early 2021?
No, 2 weeks ago was delivery.

Thought I would share my experience too since I have been looking to order a G80 M3 comp for a while now.

I stopped by BMW Melbourne on Saturday, the sales manager claimed they had 2 allocations available for Build weeks in May.
And they were asking 10k over MSRP, but only 5k if you were local.
They came down to 4k after a bit of negotiation.
Ultimately, I refused to pay any markup, so I left.
They also seemed to be marking up BMW Financing rate by 1%.
They said I would be approved to 3.99 and BMW had no offer right now on financing, when the website says 2.99.

I read somewhere else that Coggin in Fort Pierce was not doing any markup.
the sales I talked to there said only 1k over sticker.... but no allocations until the end of the year....

Anyways, if anyone on here has any lead on allocations available at MSRP in central FL, I would be interested.

Thanks!

Fields BMW doesn't have any markups, they have two major dealerships in Orlando. But they have a list that's so long that I doubt you'll get a car. I know one guy down south that had an allocation for may without markup, not sure if he still does but pm me and I'll get u his info.

That's a shame about Melbourne BMW! I remember growing up in that area BMWs were sold by the "Imported Car Store" on US 1

I've been to that Melbourne dealership and let's just put it this way— was not impressed by the staff. They looked me up-and-down and had no clue I could pay cash for an M car….
Maybe that's an overgeneralization but I'm not surprised by markup shenanigans….

I was getting a prior work vehicle serviced at a kia dealership last July. They had 10k "Market adjustments" on the telluride stickers
My dad lives in the Houston area and paid 10k over on a Telluride. I told him not to, but the Kia dealers wouldn't budge on it.

TBH not mad at them, in this current market, with such low inventories, they tried everything to make money.
It just doesn't make sense TO ME to pay any mark up on a car that will eventually (if the market goes back to normal) depreciate as soon as you take delivery.
