Artemis Leader still doing doughnuts north of France for about a week now. Just looked at the weather there and seems clear all around. Unbelievable!

They just had another ‘named storm’ in the area today, and winds in the tracker still showing 40kn. No idea what the threshold for setting sail is, but supposedly the weather is easing up a little after today. Hopefully we see some movement if this was indeed a weather delay.

I’ve read that once you hit the At the Port status, the accuracy/timeliness of the updates can be questionable from there.

Mine switched to At the Port on 1/25, and still says that right now. I called BMW Genius on 2/8 and they told me it was loaded onto Artemis Leader on 2/6 or 2/7. From what I understand, if there’s a discrepancy between what the tracking portal shows you and what the Genius line says, the tracking portal is the one that has it wrong.

*Insert rhetorical question here*: Would it be too much to ask BMW AG to send some techs and parts out to the boat to finish off these open RAM and PMA work orders while the vessel is circling around the French coast line??? But that assumes parts are available and that some logic prevails.

(They probably pack these cars in so tightly you can't get in to the car anyway.)

Looks like Artemis Leader might finally be under way. It’s been on a trajectory towards the Atlantic for the last 90 mins, gradually increasing speed, and currently at ~13 kn; its fastest in the last 24 hours.

Contact your CA for info. It's possible you might be on a ship already.

It's the same for me, week 2, prod 1/15 with no recalls and at port since 1/19. Genius doesn't have any more information and says we just have to wait

Keep an eye on the NYK RORO Schedule. I was on Atlas Leader, back in October, and they added a stop, the second to the last day, before they got to Port Hueneme.

The schedule reads vertically. Locate the Green Ridge, at the top of the sheet, and follow it down to Bremerhaven and then down to Port Hueneme, for the estimated arrival date. Right now it does show March 19th, still, so youre good. You can also see all of the stops, along the way. I was at Port Hueneme for 8 days for a ram stop sale.

Just far from the coast is all, it’s turned towards South America now. I think tracking is only from satellite now.

Ah, you’re probably right. I’ve been tracking the damn thing for 2 1/2 weeks, and (sadly) this is the first time it’s not been right off the mainland in that time.
