Same exact situation. Not having ordered a car before the lack of any clear system makes the wait more frustrating when others seem to be shipping with no clear explanation as to why some cars sit and others don’t. No stop sales btw.

Some make it in a week, some over 100 days.

Ha ha, I hear ya. Donington will be at my port of entry around the 12th. Was just wondering the amount of time from port of entry to dealer time frame lately

Lately seems to be moving at a faster pace. Week 1s got their cars pretty quickly. Considering many week 2 and week 3 are still sitting in Germany 😑

My order has a port installed option; a BMW Performance front splitter, typically installed at port of enrty. Does anyone know if vehicle status remains 'at the port' until that option is installed, bypassing the 'in transit' on ship?

No. Everything will still track the same. From at port(exit) to intransit to at port(entry) to in transit

Question for you all though, apparently there is some black time between the reporting of a vehicle on a vessel. I have heard a few days does anyone have any more detail as to how long it could take? Meaning you would still show at the port but in reality you might be on a vessel 2, 3, 4 days into its trip.

I was at the port for a short time, but that was after being in QC for over 3 months. Now I am “at the port” again, this time on the east coast waiting for a carrier. It’s been over a week already. Supposed to be on a carrier this past Saturday, and now maybe tomorrow. If you’re not waiting in one place it’s another

It was two weeks at the port for me (heading to Port Hueneme). Hopefully your car catches a boat soon!
