Use Iron-Off on the road tar on the doors and brake dust wheels. It'll make life easy for you.

Tried Gyeon Q2 Tire coating for the first time.

Washed the tires really well, dried them, and heated the tire up with a hair dryer first to aid in absorption.

The photo does not show it well, but really black finish and not too shiny which I prefer. Will see how long it lasts.

Looks great! Does this sling off all over the paint work as you drive or after it’s been raining like most other tire dressing?

Wow would love to see how this hold. I hate using tire dressing and wiping it off.

Chemical Guys VRP works really well for a tire dressing. Gives a great shine and only requires a little bit so there is zero sling from the tires after application.

i have a whole gallon of it lol. Maybe I'm just applying too much of it. I recently started trying the Adams version of it. Seems like that's not slinging. Thought maybe the product above it would hold that color through several car washes.

Sounds like you are putting too much on if it is getting thrown from the tire. Doesn't take much to spread across the whole sidewall.

Apparently not. I have used the twice since and nothing. I did leave it overnight though before driving.

Also Gyeon had two tire products. This is the long lasting one.

Hoping it does what the product says. Should last three or four months. I live in a dry environment though.

Gyeon had two tire products. This is the long lasting one. There is a more normal product type to use every couple of weeks. The product I used is more expensive.

Will let everyone know how long it lasts.

Sure, I'll see what I can do in the next couple of days.

It's been overcast the past couple of weeks down here in San Diego. The sun peeked through a bit today and I caught a good glimpse of the Sapphire Metallic sparkle under the Xpel Stealth. I should have tried to capture it, but I didn't think to before the clouds came back.

Use to use VRP a lot but wouldn't last long, especially after a rain. Check out CarPro Perl. My favorite so far; but have Gyeon q2. Suppose to last multiple washes. EDIT: mine is the same as Greg, but a blue bottle; sio2 based. Hmm.
