I called Genius on Monday and they told me ETA to the dealership is Saturday. Still sitting 'At The Port'.

Freaky!! So I’m recounting my day to my wife and telling her the story of how I discovered first, a new delivery date for my car this morning at 930 and a completely different second delivery date later on that afternoon from the geniuses. She knows I check the tracker in Mygarage multiple times a day and so I pulled it up to show her my ‘in transit’ status and it said my car was already at the dealership!!! I left my dinner on the table and drove out the the dealership 25 minutes away and who do I find glistening in the parking lot lights?! My baby Gigi 2!!!! I didn’t win the tire lottery, but I got a set of Michelins in my basement with only 3K miles on them from my last M4 so I’m good!! Woot woot, pick her up tomorrow afternoon!!!

Amazing! I’m hoping my dealer can accommodate delivery tomorrow as well given car arrived there this afternoon. About an hour drive so can’t swing by on a whim but will go as soon as I can.

I don’t know about your dealership, but mine wants those cars off their lot ASAP, they don’t want the liability/responsibility. And they hate telling people they can’t have it, it’s already sold………….to me!!

I just called Genius and my ETA got pushed from the 6th to the 8th but also said the car was released from the VPC and is waiting a truck to pick it up.
I also talked to my SA and he's saying that once it's in a truck, it will be at the dealership within 4-6 hours. Status is still at the port.
Hoping to get lucky and not have to wait through the weekend!

In my case, I have nothing but positive things about my CA at BMW of Arlington and about SA that worked on 4 of our previous cars

My CA at Park Ave BMW was exceptional. Finance manager too. Even the genius there was great. Whole process was smooth and couldn’t be happier.

It was in Baltimore for 2-3 days
