Did you bed them in? Definitely very low dust, you will be happy. They should not be less bite and stopping power than OEM pads. See chart.

Reviews from members here seem to all suggest that they do NOT bite as well as OEM.

Yep, did the proper bedding procedure, had a nice section of road all to myself.

They bite less…deal breaker no, difference for sure.

Is2000 has better bite than oem but half the dust and no noise. That's a win.

Pretty big day for the jummobile!
Put the summer wheels/tires back on and made an appointment at my local independent shop to get the Millway monoballs installed on Friday.
Other than the lack of a clutch, the only complaint I would have with the car is the lack of steering feel.
The steering is accurate and the front end has far more grip than I would know how to fully exploit but it is somewhat devoid of sensation.
After a spring cleaning and the installation, I will post a pic and report.
We have an annual 2500 mile road trip coming and really looking forward to some quality windshield time.

I've run both the 1500s and the 2000s. The single most significant reason that I went to the 2000s was because the bite on the 1500s wasn't as good as OEM. The 1500s have 95% reduction in dust with 90%+ brake function over OEM. The 2000's have 80%+ reduction in dust with 101%+ brake function over OEM.

(let's not get into the 2000s on track - see my other posts)

Is the V2 lip the CSL style?

V2 style reference the CSL style grill. The lip is just the CSL style lip, no V2.

Fitment’s on point. Lip feels rock solid. I had a vorstiener rep and it didn’t fit or feel as solid as this one. Highly recommend.

Not for a lot of us they dont. I was at the dealership yesterday and they had 3 M4's in the showroom and none had them.

If I were doing it again I would go with the 2000s for sure. It’s always tough to sort through all of the reviews and impressions on the forum. My goal was stock performance with no noise and less dust…clearly the 1500s don’t quite meet all of those.

I’ll get over it (maybe)

Mine never had them, but there have also been a number of reports by people who had them, until they fell off.

Negative on my '24 G80.

Does anyone know if the brake clips have any functional purpose?

No, they do not. I know ‘24’s did not come with them. They are $25 per set so if you want them you’ll need to buy them. Just note if not put on correctly they will fall off.

Then the place I ordered from made a mistake. 25.40 bucks plus 9.66 bucks shipping for both in a single box.

None at all. Missing on my 24' as well . But I bought a pair through my dealer , it got on my nerves. They can pop off quite easily , you need to bend them in such a way , they clip on more firmly.
