I thought it was steep too initially, but after looking at the product in my hands and comparing it to the generic aftermarket products it's worth it. Plus it comes with a lifetime warranty.

So far I'm very happy. It's a worthy upgrade overall except the DCT. The tradeoff is some crispness and speed, but you get one more gear and smoother shifting. It's still a VERY fast ZF8.

My canyon run was probably only going 7/10ths and it did very well. I'll be doing a track day in Feb or March to see how the car does with some real hard driving. In the meantime, I'll quote what I posted in another thread:

Bought remote start off the connecteddrive site and i went to install it and it told me, i can leave the car and lock it and it'll update for 5 minutes. So that's what i did. I got out of the car, locked it via key fob, then i saw it was doing a whole bunch of stuff through the infotainment screen. Then after 2 minutes everything shut off.

I tried to press the lock button on the key fob 3 times because that's what it said is needed to start the car but it didn't work.

Then i went on my phone and went in the app and the remote start icon isn't there.

Do i have to start the car again and enable something? It started to rain so i stopped fiddling with it.

Try this...
From the home screen, press the ‘CAR’ menu on the left-hand side.

1. Select ‘Settings’
2. Scroll to the right and choose ‘Climate Control’
3. Select ‘Preconditioning/Ventilation’
4. Select ‘Remote Engine Start’
5. Check the box for ‘Starting Engine for Clim. Control’
6. Select ‘OK’ if you agree to the disclaimer

I threw on a set of Michelin pilot Sport A\S 4 on my G83 at 550 miles and they are my year around tires.

You need to turn it on in climate.
