AA or Valvetronic single Mid with REMUS Race Axle back

Has anyone tried this combo? Will it result in a good sound?

Also a tips question.

I’m finding the Remus tips too expensive, looking at some cheaper models. It says on Remus site the tube diameter is 76mm. So will 80mm (inner diameter) tips that need to be welded on fit? Also what is the tolerance on the tips for the inner diameter? How much larger on the inner diameter of the tips can I go? Just so I know which off the shelf tips will work.

The AA single with REMUS axle back is one of the most popular combos. It fits perfectly.

Valvetronic will fit the same but sound different as the single midpipe design differs.
