Aftermarket Wheel Talk!
Surprised this hasn't started!
Let's begin.. I'm very curious as to what aftermarket wheels others are already looking at, dreaming about and visualizing for this car. I can't be alone here in trying to figure out what design will look great on this generation. I will not be waiting this time around, delivery and new wheels MUST arrive in the same week I am hoping this gen will support the 5-star-ish design that the E36/E46/E92 wore well. My eyes are on Velos VLS06 3-piece or Brixton PF10's. BC Forged of course has several options and will continue to be a highly used brand so would love to hear which ones are being looked at. |

Yeah, there are some nice 5star like designs out there, sure they will suite this gen aswell.
Overall curious what HRE, Vossen & ADV.1 will offer and also one wheel BMW was showing in black / spy looked sick. Of course not in that color combo for me personally. |

Curious of all of those as well, really want to see some new designs enter into this gen. Wheel designs have been changing radically over the past few years however a lower percentage of people are open to change. I'm sure we will see some member photos very soon.

My car should arrive by end of March But not in a hurry, first it needs to get lower to the ground and I will probably keep the 826 for this summer, I like them a lot, and think wirh a drop they will look even better....but they will then become winter wheels next winter... So first is anyway a drop, but that also takes some time, I was in touch with KW, they could not confirm anything yet, is still in development and they are expecting first kits in summer / fall... |

Cool to see another! Nice wheels, however I get this feeling that they don't match this vehicle IMO. Thanks for sharing! |

Part of the reason aftermarket brands aren't pushing the G8X fitment much is because the factory offsets / fitment are still a little iffy. I've seen some say it's "confirmed" to be ET20 front and rear but is there any proof? Hard to have a final product without knowing the concrete specs.
I'm sure once that's set in stone many companies will roll out some options...

Some cool info from the supplier Edelweiss: We’ll be running 20” front and rear, which you can combine with either 275/30 R20 in the front and 285/30 R20 in the back or 285/30 R20 in the front and 295/30 R20 in the back. The wheels will be under 21 lbs each, clear all factory brakes incl. the carbon-ceramics and be compatible with BMW’s genuine tire pressure sensors and lug bolts. The wheels are done development, yes. We had access to a few BMW factory development cars a few months ago, which we used for 3D scanning, test fitments and development of our wheels. The wheels are custom designed and weight optimized just for the G80 models. Currently, the wheels are in production. Deliveries will start end of May. Pricing in Canada starts at $5,390 CAD per set incl. door-to-door shipping. |

Damn, that looks good. It's amazing what a drop + wheels will do for a car aesthetically.

Wheel sizes?
What's everyone thinking about wheel sizes? I'm leaning towards BC Forged for my g80 but don't know if I want to continue with the staggered setup or do 19s/20s all around. I think a deep dish wheel is going to be sick.
