Bmw lease/rent charge
Hey guys
Question, I have recently stepped out of a Porsche lease, & the "RENT CHARGE" on the lease was almost 35% of the monthly lease payment. Meaning, if my monthly lease payments were 1,700M/ 700 WAS Going into "Rent charge" & the remainder 1,000$ was going towards the buyout every month. I am looking at an M4, 0.00267 Money factor. sell price about 97k. Wanted to know on a BMW lease, how large is the "Rent charge" compared to Porsche. If my bmw payments were 1,700 - would it be like 300 a month rent charge & the rest towards the initial buyout cost? thanks for your help! |

All leases have this. Its essentially the interest on the loan. You are paying interest for the entire value of the car not just the depreciated amount.

yeah rent charge is the interest/money factor. On a car that price, with the money factor it's probably about 400 per month. Heads up that the money factor dropped for some leases in January so make sure you're getting the latest program.
