It's a wide angle distortion affect on the bottom photo that was taken with a wide angle (short focal length) lens. Objects towards the outer edges of the photo get warped.

The picture is computer altered by an automotive graphic illustrator, designer. The side flame is muted out too. I doubt multiple heat exhangers, radiators would fit up there.
