Exactly. Changed my order to Frozen Solid White. Would have gone with any frozen green or frozen grey if such options were offered.

Even though I have my allocation, I hope there are more than this short run for people who want them. The way this whole process was done is very strange if it this ends up being the only allocations.

Depends on the market demand and if they can build enough of them in the year time frame.

What did you end up ordering if you don't mind

Signal green
Gold wheels
Gold ccb
Cup 2 tires

Was debating red or gold calipers went with gold. I think some of you don’t realize and/or care that signal green is a Porsche color and not an ordinary Porsche color but a Paint to sample. Always wanted a signal green gt3, well I got the m3 CS!

Btw I think the car looks dope in frozen white with gold wheels.

I do wonder if anyone did a replica m4 CSL spec - BSM
Red ccb black wheels. If you did let us know!!!

There's nothing so special about the CS that would prevent production capacity from exceeding 40 units per month. But as of now, that's what it is. 367 units over a 10 month period.

I hate PPF, but I may use the car as a somewhat daily, so I may do it.

PPF is a scam in my view (I’m literally paying to put a layer over paint that if it gets a chip, I need to replace as well), and with frozen paint, it ruins the finish (see the Chris Harris video of how he tried to PPF the frozen green M5 CS and it changed the finish so drastically, he just did the front only).

I don’t have my CSL PPF’d at all in frozen Grey. Not paying $8k in PPF to protect the car for the next owner.

Only post if you know sticker deals. Plenty of these will land in inventory trying the ADM game.

Always love seeing posts like this. I'm a non-PPF guy as well. I won't bash someone that decides to get it, but my reasons for never drinking the PPF koolaid are just as you described.

My Frozen Brilliant White G80 is a couple years old, 17k miles, is a daily, and has zero PPF.. still looking incredible. Some may think that's absolutely crazy, but that can be a two-way street.

Yesterday my dealer submitted mine..
Frozen white
Gold wheels
Std. Red caliper
MPSS tires
MSRP

Never owned a frozen color; reading few comments here, I think it will not be PIA to maintain. I always hand wash my cars. My SA mentioned to watch for bird droppings as well and wipe/clean asap

Not sure how BMW is going plan the build schedule.. maybe just simple order submitted timing. Late Jan submitted Vs Feb 2nd like mine. Guess I have to wait longer than those submitted Jan end.

Does your dealer have written confirmation (that they’ve shared with you) that their changes were accepted for their single allocation if it was submitted yesterday?

How was this order submitted?

Nice! And don’t sweat the frozen finish. If you’re already washing on your own, you’ll be good. Do a decent ceramic coat and you don’t have to worry about bird droppings.

The best site for frozen owners:

Am not sure what they did..
My SA called yesterday and said they have got the email asking them to submit 1 order and since I was in thier first wait list, he wanted to submit the order out immediately.
Told me over phone it’s showing only color, wheel, tire, break caliper color and CCB option that can be selected. I gave him my selections. There was another guy who supposedly manages all M orders as well there. He submitted and he confirmed that from his dealership mine is only one submitted. He sent the price and BMW default build sheet for the CS over email.

Don’t know what comes next… maybe BMW looks at all the orders submitted and then issues locked allocation/production number?

My experience was the same here in Atlanta. I'm first in line so my dealer called me to spec their single allocation.

So I'm guessing 1MN CSL/CS front engine strut brace is standard in the US? (unlike some European markets where it's an extra).

Same. I didn’t PPF my CSL (or M5 CS for that matter). I can live with a few stone chips.
