Soon we'll be able to price out what a Competition to CSL conversion costs

If by DDC you meant EDC, it's got adaptive dampers.
DDC, dynamic dampening control.

That's not going to be cheap seeing as those parts didn't have the seats, trunk or hood.

Should look up if there's specific CSL software , I thought the CSL steering reacts differently and of course the engine tunes and electronic damping are all set up differently.

It's internal so you'd have to work for BMW or know someone there.

BMW has cracked down on publicly available but illegally obtained parts catalogues such as realOEM, newTIS, bimmercat, etc., so that's why they're not getting updated.

Your best bet is https://parts.bmwnorthwest.com which is the newest version (North America specific) around but does not contain everything.

Same here...I am a dealer and mine was slated for September production and just moved from 112 to 105 status which means unslotted. I'm just terrified I won't get it at all. Considering only 240 are coming to the US......

It is not a complete list as some things are missing still and will be added soon (seats, bonnet, boot lid). There are no weight figures listed.

Rear left and right driveshafts are said to be shared between G80/G82 CS and G82 CSL models, and installed on regular models that see heavy track use due to high temps coming from the differential.

Front knuckles 'RWD MINUS' mean that they add more negative camber. I do not know how much, but the 'correction' knuckles available as spare parts on the F8x added -0.5 degree, AFAIK.
Are there minus knuckles for xdrive too ??

Would love to know part no for CSL under hood brace 😘

Is the ETK still available online? Or downloadable?

Last time I checked it was only up to year 2020.

It's internal as in you've got to work for BMW corporate, a dealer or know someone in either of the two to let you play with it.

See https://parts.bmwnorthwest.com for the newest one out there - doesn't have everything in it, but it's good enough and contains MY2022 cars. Doesn't have the CSL in there yet, obviously.

They've certainly got them for G20/21 xDrive cars so I reckon there are G8x ones available but I'll confirm that and the brace in a few days.

bracing is for the most part identical. The two under the bonnnet between the strut towers and the V brace are omitted in the CSL diagram, so cannot get the part numbers for them just yet.

Knuckles - there are not any minus nor plus versions for either of the Comp models.

thank you so much for providing these details and the part numbers.

I am in the process of ordering the Headlight Laser Yellow lights and Taillight as well

my G82 has laser light but my dealer said the these CSL Headlights and taillights will not work on G82CX

is this true?

I am in the process of ordering the Headlight Laser Yellow lights and Taillight as well

is this true?
Well, seeing as there are no repair manuals nor any sort of documentation on the CSL yet, I don't think they've got a clue.

F82 OLED taillights on LCI cars required a small wiring job, so history might repeat itself with the G82.

Headlights are plug&play, I reckon. My reason being, Laser lights themselves are already plug&play on non-laser-equipped cars (just coding needs to be done). However, I don't really know any better.

Perhaps the wiring diagrams in ETK could tell us more, if they've updated them. I can ask the cleaning lady to have a look?

Thanks for the P/N on the CSL badge, I may have 4 doors but I take out the mats for cleaning occasionally. Don't judge!

Cleaning lady said she'd have to have the VIN of a CSL to make sure, but the ETK does not show the wiring harnesses in great detail to determine the difference. I think you're better off waiting until IND or EAS get their hands on CSL lights to retrofit.
